About Us

At Kelp, we build the essential infrastructure for the emerging creator economy to work. We are a small and ambitious team working to empower content creators and transform the multimedia marketplace. Our current focus is on resolving numerous issues with content attribution and copyright protection.

The project is partly funded by the European Commission initiative and supported by the Web3 Foundation. We are open source.

About our team

We are a pragmatic bunch who are not afraid to break the norms to get the stuff done. All of us share the same idea — to shift the power from the centralized closed systems to individual creators. This is not an easy feat, it brings a lot of challenges technology-wise as well in education and public perception where creators, especially photographers, are undervalued and their work is often (miss)used.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a cooperative and confident team member with a curious and inquisitive mind to help us better explain and communicate the ideas of Anagolay & Kelp to our audience. This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of the digital content market.

In this role, you will spearhead efforts to create and grow a community supporting the rightful IP protection management and transfer for the creative works of all kinds within the Substrate ecosystem and beyond. You should be comfortable wearing many different marketing hats while being equally adept at both understanding the bigger picture and executing day-to-day marketing activities. You will report directly to the CEO and will have the freedom to further define your role as the team grows.

  • Challenges, and lots of them. We are building something new, something that nobody has ever done before.

  • A unique opportunity to shape the future of Anagolay Network & its applications and grow into a long term leadership role

  • Individual development opportunities (conferences, meet-ups, courses, and more)

  • Competitive Hourly rate, monthly payouts

  • Work with a diverse team from around the globe

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to foster community and growth amongst early adopters and forward-minded digital artists

  • Identify, set-up, and manage key marketing and social media channels while generating and publishing relevant content on a regular basis.

  • Work directly with product, engineering, and design leads to coordinate and run marketing experiments

  • Ensure that all marketing efforts are closely aligned with overall token economics and crypto-economic incentive mechanisms.

Must-Have

  • At least 3 years of experience in technology product marketing roles

  • Prior experience at an early stage technology startup, ideally in Crypto, LegalTech, or MediaTech

  • Demonstrated track record on projects that require assimilating a large volume of complex information and distilling it down to effective, approachable communication

  • Ability to learn quickly and maintain a high speed of execution in a loosely structured, fast-paced, and rapidly evolving environment

  • Familiarity and experience with the current blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape

  • Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to have

This list outlines the optional knowledge that will be helpful to you on an almost day-to-day basis.

  • A passion for decentralized, peer-to-peer systems and Web3 technologies
