We are a startup team that is developing a platform that will revolutionize how social networks connect users across the world, and empower content creators with full ownership and monetization abilities. This is a Web3 platform for decentralized social networks built on top of a cutting-edge technology stack including a Substrate (Rust) blockchain framework.
We only develop and improve our own products, and most of our code is in open source. All of our projects are run using Kanban with Scrum elements (daily status updates and retrospective team meetings).
We are the recipients of two technical grants from the Web3 Foundation and are endorsed by Dr. Gavin Wood, a co-founder of Ethereum and the creator of Polkadot.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
— Understanding of the blockchain space across multiple ecosystems, including Ethereum, Polkadot, NEAR, Solana, etc.
— Ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical community members.
— Some proficiency with TypeScript / JavaScript.
— Proficient in English, with excellent written communications skills. Verbal skills will be a plus.
Will be a plus:
— Degree or Diploma in technology or computer science related field.
— Active involvement as a validator, programmer, trader, writer in the crypto/decentralized technology space, and open source, privacy-minded communities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
— Assist outside developers with building on Subsocial’s platform by creating documentation for them and answering questions.
— Communicate with community members in Telegram and Discord, consult on any technical topic, general, tech, business related questions.
— Be able to articulate all the benefits of SubSocial to new and existing users.
— Analysis of the problems that users have, interaction with the technical team.
— Promote a culture of user empathy and understanding within the product.
— Produce and maintain process documentation to help the team improve efficiency.
