We are a startup team that is developing a platform that will revolutionize how social networks connect users across the world, and empower content creators with full ownership and monetization abilities. This is a Web3 platform for decentralized social networks built on top of a cutting-edge technology stack including a Substrate (Rust) blockchain framework.
We only develop and improve our own products, and most of our code is in open source. All of our projects are run using Kanban with Scrum elements (daily status updates and retrospective team meetings).
We are the recipients of two technical grants from the Web3 Foundation and are endorsed by Dr. Gavin Wood, a co-founder of Ethereum and the creator of Polkadot.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
— Excellent marketing and community strategy skills with proven expertise (3+ years).
— Understand traditional marketing principles and implementation (owned media, PR, paid advertising, email marketing, etc), and can strategize growth activities.
— A deep understanding of crypto communities and Web3 users, and what motivates them.
— Deep knowledge of top-tier press cycles and existing relationships with editors, journalists and influencers.
— Has proven results increasing brand/product awareness and customer acquisition.
— Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Will be a plus:
— Understanding of the blockchain space across multiple ecosystems, such as Ethereum, Polkadot, NEAR, Cosmos, Solana, etc.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
— Owning the overall marketing strategy for all marketing channels, coordinating with the Content Lead & Community Manager; collaborating with the executive team and technical staff to create unique strategic solutions.
— Performing user research, crafting positioning/messaging, performing user product education.
— Developing creative assets including all brand materials and a brand voice, targeting content and messaging per customer persona.
— Collaborate with strategic partners to accelerate market exposure to drive customer acquisition and integrate content on all marketing channels including socials, YouTube channels, AMAs, coordinating interviews, PR announcements, influencer management and advertising strategy to industry publications.
— Develop community across multiple social media channels for size and engagement, such as Telegram, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, etc.
— Identify emerging PR opportunities, including areas such as executive thought leadership, podcasting, conference participation.
— Observe key external events including online events, hackathons and speaking panels for opportunities for growth, partnerships and network expansion.
— Follow the development of our competitors.
— Identify and engage with influencers and ambassadors; create and manage social partnerships and collaborations.
— Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarizing and assessing digital and social media traffic and engagement.
— Identify and test new channels, content, and strategies that drive brand growth and improve marketing processes.
